Greenpeace at Glastonbury 2009

Lily Allen clashes with the Greenpeace banner

The Greenpeace Glastonbury crew are busy concocting over-ambitious plans to save whichever planet you happen to be on during the Glastonbury weekend.

Here's a taste of what's planned...

Sipson Village is scheduled for demolition! The government reckon London needs another runway (on top of the six it's already got). We're not so sure. Come to the Greenpeace field, become an Airplotter, and help us create a spectacular aviation intervention to stop the Heathrow plans.

Clean coal? Coal doesn't look very clean, and, in fact, it isn't very clean - but doesn't 'clean coal' sound great? There's a whole world of greenwash out there. Come and find out the difference between endless spin and a renewable revolution.

Ever seen a Greenpeace action and thought ‘I could do that'? Well now you can have a go in our action training centre. Come and scale our climbing walls, or bring your board for the famous Greenpeace skate ramp.

Want to make a difference, but not sure how? Maybe we can help with some expert advice on how to change your world to a greener, happier one.

Plus all the Greenpeace field favourites - from the 24 hour organic Café Tango to the clean energy powered showers - we've got the essentials to keep your festival weekend well-fed and fragrant.

What goes on in Vegas stays in Vegas, but what goes on in Glastonbury needs to be cleared up and disposed of carefully. Last year we made a giant leap forward in making Glastonbury a clean and sustainable festival - Worthy Farm thanks you for helping. This year we're going to do even better - so think about what you bring and where it's going to end up...

Love the farm, and the farm will love you right back.
