Volunteering at Greenpeace UK

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Greenpeace. There are two ways in which you can help us deliver our campaigns; by becoming an active supporter or by volunteering at our office in Islington, London.

We have various different departments here at Greenpeace UK; Marketing, Supporter Services, Campaigns, Actions, Active Supporters Unit, Policy & Solutions, Media, Finance, Human Resources, Reception and I.T - all of which occasionally need help from volunteers.

Voluntary opportunities range from help with administration, mailouts, research, data entry, translations, typing, editing, note taking and many more. Length of opportunities can be anything from 1 day to 6 months.

Once received, we will keep hold of your application for 3 months and inform you of any opportunities which may arise. After this time we will contact you to see if you are still available, as we understand people's circumstances may change. We aim to place people according to their skills, experience and depending on their availability. The more information you provide on the form, the greater the likelihood of us being able to find an appropriate way to use your skills. Unfortunately, we do only occasionally need help from volunteers in our Islington office, so we cannot promise you will hear from us I'm afraid.

Please note that all voluntary opportunities in our office are between the hours of 10am-6pm Monday to Friday, our office is closed at the weekends.

To volunteer in our office you must live within easy travelling distance to our office in North London. I'm afraid we are unable to provide or help with accommodation.
