We must protect the Arctic from dangerous deep water oil drilling

As our action against Cairn's Arctic-bound oil rig gets underway, there's no better time to remind us all of what's at stake - watch and share these powerful pictures.

An oil spill in the Arctic would be catastrophic - seasonal sea ice would make any clean-up operation extremely difficult, if not impossible. And that's even before we burn the oil. If we continue to feed our oil addiction the Arctic ice will melt even faster than it already is.

We need to protect the Arctic.

Please share these pictures by email, on social media an on your blogs.

The drilling expedition is likely to make some mistake , so why run such a high risk to the world's

 ecology ?

Its to risky to continue playing games with nature , the wildlife can not resist another disaster .

"Oil companys are enviromental criminals and they know it" The Reign of the oil age will fall to the renewable energy revolution! Respect the Earth!   "No One is above it"

"Power to the People"

The oil companies know that the crude reseves worldwide are very few and expensive to develop , but only public opinion will stop them someday .

Shame you have comments from ignorant people saying Greenpeace is so "80's" - if it wasn't for Greenpeace and other caring people we may not have seen past 2010!

Greenpeace does a great job awakening  souls to what's going to happen if we not act now .
