How to make a green Golf

VW claim they are committed to becomming the "most eco-friendly automaker in the world". But if their new Golf 7 is anything to go by they aren't living up to their claims. Our report published before the launch of the Golf 7 shows how a greener, more efficient Golf is possible.

The simulator below uses data from our report and the Golf 6 and shows that with small improvements to air-resistance, weight and roll-resistance, a Golf could go 100km on just 3 litres of fuel.

Change the engine options and move the sliders to see how a more efficient Golf is possible.

And once you've shown how to make a green Golf below, you can add a photo to The Rebel Manifesto calling on VW to stop opposing laws that would mean more efficient cars and less CO2 emissions.
