Cool IT leaders needed to tackle global warming

If saving our climate was a game of poker and all the various stakeholders - our heads of state, the energy industry, environmentalists, etc - were players, there would be one player at the table who hasn't yet shown their cards. The hold-out in this particular game is the Information Technology (IT) Industry, a player who is sitting on a lot of chips in a high stakes game, despite holding a winning hand.

That's why we've launched the Cool IT Challenge - a new campaign that lets you place your bets (and your pressure) on the CEOs of the major IT firms to get off the fence and show some climate leadership.

It's not that metaphorical what they are actually doing. And they need sort of crude awakening. Fast!

Good campaign, hope it helps them make some moves towards less poluting and less energy-consuming industry. We all know how important the IT is, right.
