When Shell opened their annual wine and dine reception at the National Gallery last night, we made sure their exclusive invitees were treated to a evening of fine works of art in oil. Shell have had a disastrous year, so we captured the drama on canvas.
Shell may have paused Arctic drilling for this year, but we're not going away until the Arctic is safe for good.

The whale, dubbed "Willow", was caught on camera while breaching the surface with a pod of humpbacks. The extremely rare white humpback was spotted on a boat trip off the coast of Svalbard, Norway, in the pristine waters of the Arctic Circle. Willow resembles the mythical white whale, Moby Dick.

The Arctic is in a
state of crisis. We have put out an urgent call for financial support. But what
will we do with £100,000? One of our supporters took the time to ask us on
facebook. And I’d like to take the time to fully respond.

Oil spill prevention unit out in force in London today to #tellshell not to destroy the Arctic
It's action stations at the petrol stations. Right now,
teams of Greenpeace volunteers are shutting Shell forecourts across London and
Edinburgh. The teams are fanning out across the two cities, going station to
station shutting down the pumps. In total, over 100 forecourts will be out of
action, and it's all because Shell has a fleet of vessels on its way to the
Arctic where they'll be drilling for oil in the next few weeks.
