Please help us protect our marine life

Did you know that fishing nets represent a huge threat to the world's remaining populations of dolphins, whales and porpoises?

It's estimated that 300,000 of these animals are killed EVERY YEAR in fishing gear around the world. For some species like the vaquita in Mexico, and Hector's dolphin in New Zealand, fishing nets could lead to extinction in only a few years.

Please help us in our fight to save these and many more species by giving just £5 a month.

Yet this is a problem we could solve.
Greenpeace is campaigning for healthy seas, calling for a ban on the most destructive and wasteful sorts of fishing, and a move to sustainable levels of fishing using selective methods.

We also campaign for desperately-needed areas of our oceans to be set aside as Marine Reserves - where no fishing or extraction of any kind is allowed. This means all species can recover and thrive.

By joining us today you'll help us to campaign to save our precious marine life from dying needlessly. Greenpeace has already successfully campaigned to secure a drift net ban in European waters, and to make retailers around the world adopt more sustainable policies for the fish they buy, but there is much more to do.

Please help us before it's too late.
