Please help us protect them

Aren’t dolphins amazing? So graceful and intelligent, yet even they can’t avoid our destructive fishing practices.

Thousands drown every year, as they struggle to untangle themselves from our fishing nets. They don’t die immediately. First they panic, and then they start to thrash around, suffering horrible injuries as they struggle. Eventually, exhausted, they run out of oxygen and die.

And when you think about all the other marine life also swept up, the death toll keeps on growing. Whales, fur seals, fish, albatrosses and turtles are also victims of destructive fishing practices.

By joining us today you’ll help us to campaign to save our precious marine life from dying needlessly. Greenpeace has already successfully secured a drift net ban in European waters, but new practices keep on emerging. Please help us stop the fishing industry from further depleting our ocean life before it’s too late.

Please join us with a gift of £3 a month today. Your support will make a difference.Thank you.
