We’re out in the Southern Oceans right now stopping whaling.

Please give today to keep us there

Over the next few months the Japanese whalers will be out in the Southern Ocean. They intend to slaughter over 1,000 whales – making it their biggest kill in the last 20 years. We absolutely can’t let this happen. Minke, fin and the endangered humpacks are all being hunted. With your support we will do everything in our power to protect as many as possible.

How your regular donation will help

Japanese whaling in the Southern ocean

As well as helping ensuring we the necessary action at sea you will help us campaign on land at the International Whaling Comission meeting taking place in Chile in June 2008. We urgently need to persuade more countries attending the IWC to vote against a resumption of commercial whaling which would push many whale species to the brink of extinction.

And it won’t be just whales you’ll be helping us protect. Your donation will fund our long-term work to establish a global network of marine reserves which will protect all marine life from the threats posed by overfishing and other destructive fishing practices. Please give a regular donation today of £3 a month or whatever you can afford. Your gift will be put to good use straight away.
