Here she comes!

The last few months in the ASU have been mind boggling manic, leading to the levels of insanity that leaves you wibbling at your desk late into the evening, too tired to face going home.

Somewhere in the mix were a whole load of NVDA training events, Climate Camp, the Waveney Greenpeace fair (which was really cool), various film showings of ‘A Time Comes' along with associated presentations, MP Lobbying workshops, A big push on this new Greenpeace/active site, Greenpeace at U2 gigs, meetings about how we should be doing more campaigning, legal support training, disasters with the post, a Canterbury skillshare, Demonstrations at DECC, the big launch event for Southwark Greenpeace, ideas for a new peace & disarmament campaign, the roll out of the new Big If coal work, Street Campaigning Training, the final push on the MP lobbying aspects of Airplot, Airplot campaigning at Alistair McGowan gigs, the London coordination meeting, planning for The Wave, plotting about the new Airplot special interest project (now live) and the build up to the next phase of tree planting events. Oh and that big Non Violent Direct Action at Parliament. I may have also missed a few things?

And phew it's quietened down a little so I can get back to my core role of looking after our heroic volunteers in the active supporter network, helping people start up new networks, resolving difficulties with existing networks and perhaps planning some new projects for next year.

Some great news just in: the Rainbow Warrior will be visiting London in just under 4 weeks, we'll need lots of volunteers to help with open boat days and various other associated events. If you'd like to help out please get in touch with your local network coordinator.

It's not boring working here......
