Two weeks ago Bath and Bristol East groups acted as stewards at local festival Widcombe Rising. We asked for donations from merry revellers entering the festival and going on the rides. We've been helping out at this biennial festival for the past ten years and every time the organisers give us a percentage of their takings as a thank you. ... £1332!! We know that it will be put to great use in one of this summer's campaigns ( maybe a walrus costume to go with Paula Bear?). Thanks again to all the volunteers who helped on the day!
