DVD night

Belfast group has decided to have a Greenpeace DVD night at Blick Shared Studios, 
51 Malone Road, Belfast, on Friday 14th October, at the provisional time of 6pm - 8pm. 
Everyone welcome, bring your own food and drink.

Belfast group had a great meeting on 9th October. We discussed the rainforest and 
fisheries campaign and the good news that Mattel has dropped rainforest destruction.
 The group is considering having a Green Peace stall outside Queens and the Arts 
College to raise more awareness of Greenpeace's campaigns amongst students.

The trip to the North West was a success with members from both groups participating 
in a VW action. 
Group members looked at photos from previous Greenpeace actions and the group was 
encouragd to look at the North West Ireland group's webpage.The Belfast group would 
like to do another action with the North West soon. 
The importance of members doing non-violent direct action training before going on Greenpeace 
actions was discussed.
