Big If Campaigning 19th Dec

Posted by Wave.tiger - 22 December 2009 at 7:44pm - 4 Comments

The Berkshire animals (gorilla, tiger and polar bear) and their activist friends were out in force last Saturday, campaigning for the Big If. We set up outside the Reading Town Hall where the Eco-veggie Fayre was taking place. Lots of green minded people wondering in and out with plenty of interest in talking to us and signing up. People made their pledges to Ed Milliband as to what they're going to do if he agrees to horrible DIRTY COAL. Boo! In total we got OVER 50 PLEDGES from the public, which was absolutely great.

Whilst we were there a photographer from the READING POST passed by keen to take a picture of us. Of course, we were more than happy to oblige. Look out for us all in a great group shot in the paper.

Woo hoo! My first ever blog. Beautiful.

Looks great - a thing of beauty indeed. Roll on the next one!
