Greenpeace speaker gives prognosis for Durban UN climate talks

John Halladay from Canterbury Greenpeace was one of the guest speakers at last night's COP17 event at RISC. John gave a very thought-provoking and engaging talk on Greenpeace's position on the UN climate talks in Durban starting next week.

The evening also featured a talk by Sarah Reader of the World Development Movement. There are moves being made to start a Reading WDM activist group. Look out for updates on this if you want to get involved.
