Can you cut emissions?

Posted by sseeney - 21 April 2010 at 1:27pm - Comments

In the run-up to the election the nice people at a newspaper that probably can't be named because of certain rules (not sure on this one, but figured I would play it safe) have put together a national carbon calculator.

The calculator allows you to have a go at trying to resolve how we reduce our carbon emissions whilst keeping everything running.

From a practical point of view, this is probably best suited for dictators or people who are loved and worshiped by their population since you don't have to worry about public opinion and things like that.

Still it is an interesting toy and has kept me amused during my lunch. It also provides links to show how the three main parties suggest reducing our emissions.
