Bruno, Fi and Ed - New Forest half marathon

Only a few weeks to go before the London Marathon on Sunday, 21st April. I'm running the marathon for Greenpeace and fundraising for this great organisation.

Training's been going well
In early March I traveled to the New Forest to run a half marathon. It was fantastic to get race training seven weeks before the full marathon. The course took us through forests and windswept heathlands, all on tracks and paths with a few km's of trying muddy sections. A pic of Fi, Bruno and I after finishing before heading to the pub!

Party for a planet
I'm putting on a "fun-raiser" party on Thursday, 11th April at Passing Clouds in Dalston. It's going to be a great evening with music, live drawing, facepainting and food on sale as well as a time-banking auction and info on Greenpeace campaigns.

Thanks to my friends who've been incredibly helpful in organising so far. Spread the word and come through for a boogie! Here's the link to the event Facebook page
