Earlier today around 20 people joined in a protest outside of the Shell Petrol station in Stourbridge as part of the day of action against Shell. They were joined by 500 other volunteers who simultaniously visited 57 petrol stations around the UK.
The protest was to tell Shell to keep out of the Arctic, one of the few pristine ecosystems left on the planet that could be devestated if Shell start drilling for oil there.
We were greeted by 10 policemen and women as we arrived however the protest went on peacfuly and without arrest for two hours.
This is part of a wider campaign around the world that has picked up momentum this week
