Following on from the success our protest against Shell drilling for oil in the Arctic last month in Stourbridge (which ended up in the local paper) we decided to do it again, this time in Birmingham. We'd already done a smaller protest in Kingsheath back in June but after the success of the 21st July protest where 500 other volunteers simultaneously visited 57 petrol stations around the UK, it seems like we have a lot of momentum on our side. So we decided to return to Kingsheath but this time with far greater numbers
