Airplot, Gardens and the Local MP

Posted by kizzieh - 8 August 2009 at 11:00am - Comments

On Sunday 2nd August, East Bristol Greenpeace continued to focus on the 'Garden' theme in the latest stage of the Airplot campaign by putting up a stall at the Amnesty International Garden Party at Goldney Hall in Clifton, Bristol. The response was great - there were loads of different charities there and people were generally interested in what we were doing. Most people at the event seemed already know quite abit about Airplot - we could have got more cards signed if  only the people we were talking to hadn't done it already!

Perhaps the highlight of the event was meeting the local MP Stephen Williams who signed the Airplot card and a card for the Big If campaign. He seemed quite keen although he was shamelessly cornered for a photograph..
