Arctic Sunrise in Fowey

The Arctic Sunrise was visiting Fowey 31st May - 2 June 2013 as part of a European Tour to promote long overdue reform of the EU Common Fishing Policy. Richard B, Natasha, Sue, Loz, Ian, Rose & Richard L joined volunteers from the Dorset and Cornwall groups to campaign on the quayside and on the ship. We all had a chance to look round the Arctic Sunrise which included a trip in a RIB out to the mooring. We enjoyed the best of weather and camped together at the beautifully located Penhale Farm site just outside the town. It was great to campaign with our friends from the other groups in the South West and the response we got from the pubic was overwhelmingly positive. We all had great fun and it was a just pity the weekend had to end.
