Past events:
Previous Events VW Campaigning 21st Jan Whiteladies Road Farmers Market and 22nd Jan Tobacco Factory Sunday Market – both were good venues but not the same footfall that we have at some of the more popular venues.

Sat 18st Feb 2012, VW campaigning We'll be meeting outside Browns at 10am 38 Queen's Road Clifton, Bristol, Avon BS8 1RE Please contact Fi (Firadford@aol.com) if you can help – people who volunteered at the meeting Fi, Loz, Carol, Richard B, Josh, Greg, Ian (probably) and Sue (probably).
10th-11th March Stop New Nuclear at Hinkley Point - Bristol CND is providing a coach on 10 March from Bristol to Surround Hinkley. Tickets are on sale at Katze's shop, 55 Gloucester Rd, Bristol (£10/£5). The coach will return after the Surround Hinkley action on 10 March, and will not stay for the blockade. Wed 21st March - 40th Anniversary Event – it was suggested we organise a film night at the Bristol County Sports Club in Colston Street – this is a venue that we have used before and Richard Baxter will confirm the date is OK and then we will get HQ to email all local supporters
World Earth Day Sunday 22nd April – South Bank of Avon Clean-up – Fi has suggested that we organise a clean up of the mountain of plastic bottles that have collected on the south bank of the Avon near the suspension bridge. The date proposed in Sunday 22nd April – more details at the next meeting but please put the date in your diary.
Goblin Combe Regional Skillshare 18th-20th May – This will include various training events and some socializing. Josh has been putting together some training on getting the best from Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, etc) and we will suggest to Malcolm that this might be worth including in the agenda.
June 2nd/3rd 2012 - Gordano Scout District - "Gordano Rocks" Jamboree. 500 scouts descending on the North Somerset Showground in Wraxall. We have been invited to assist with the introduction of a District Environmental Award– we have been invited to take part – at this stage just a date for your diary – more details later
Big Green Week 9th – 17th June – Fi has now registered us for the Fringe. Fi writes “I have been very modest and just asked for a space where we could have a stall to display our wares and somewhere where we could plug in a DVD player to show films.” So please make a note of the dates in your diary as it sounds as if we will need lots of help during the week to staff the stall.

It was also agreed at the meeting that it would be a good idea to rotate the chair/facilitator – recent meetings have been chaired by Natasha and Cordelia and the March meeting will be chaired by Richard B.

Other: Greenpeace have prepared a survey to gain a better understanding as to who is activewith Greenpeace and what they want to do.
