Give Green this Christmas

Greenpeace have launched a new website that gives advice on different ways of helping Greenpeace, It also gives advice on buying environmentally friendly presents for the family.

With Christmas on our doorsteps you can do alot worse than check out Greenpeace Giving that has a range of virtual gifts to suit every budget and every type of person you may want to buy for:

If you have a friend who's a bit of an activist, why not get them a urine bottle (£5) or a lockable arm tube (£10). Or if your Mum's a big fan of sea creatures, you could go for 'protect a whale and her calf' for £75.

The cost of the gifts will help Greenpeace's work in campaigns such as preventing runaway climate change, protecting ancient forests and calling for marine reserves.

And for each gift you buy you'll get your choice from a selection of cool animated e-cards that you can personalise for your friend or loved one. To make the gifts even more kind to the environment, we don't send out paper cards for every gift, though if you need something to put under the tree you can print out the e-card yourself.

So check out the new website, buy all your Christmas presents there and make sure you ask your friends to buy them for you too. If it's a bit too early for you to start thinking about Christmas, why not buy some presents for Bonfire Night, or Thanksgiving, or anyone who's got a birthday coming up.

Early Christmas Wishes!
