Stormtrooper & Santa united against VW's Dark Side

Greenpeace's own Stormtrooper was out in Stokes Croft, Bristol on Saturday 17th Dec 2011 to tell the visitors to the Christmas Market all about VW's Dark Side.

Our Stormtrooper met Santa Claus who was so upset when he found out what VW had been up to that he says they have been naughty boys and girls and won't be getting an presents from him this year! Our Stormtrooper also met the local community police officers as well as stall holders, local residents and visitors. He also met a dog called "Pig" who has apparently (according to his owner - pig can't actually talk) had his photo taken with lots of famous people (plus Chris Evans). Our campaigners braved freezing temperatures and dodged the rain to spread the message that VW must change its ways.

Anyway thanks to our Storm troopers Natasha and Sue and our campaigners Stacy, Richard B, Loz and Richard L and especially Carol (aka girl with polar bear on head) who organised the whole thing, provided the transport for the stall and stayed all afternoon we got a massive 335 cards signed - that will make a nice Christmas present for VW from Greenpeace
