Bristol East ran a stall at the Best of Bedminster Show today. Another one of Bristol's great community events which attracted a good crowd.
It was heartening to hear the support for the 30 activists aboard the Arctic Sunrise who were detained at gunpoint by Russian authorities two days ago. Some people had already sent an online plea to free the crew of the Arctic Sunrise who were in protesting against Russian state owned Gazprom which is planning to drill for oil in the Arctic. Plenty of people were keen to sign up to our Save the Arctic campaign. We also obtained signatures for the Frack-Free UK campaign. To send an email to David Cameron to get his government to ditch the 'dash for gas', click here.
