PUPILS GARDENING

For the first time The Bristol GREENPEACE Group did outreach with 8 year old school pupils and it    was a joy despite needing three buses to reach the school.

Ten attentive and engaged pupils from the Shipham School Green club discussed the importance of seeds ,then watched a short GREENPEACE "in action" DVD  with teacher & head in attendance.

They then engaged in a question and answer session about the environment and the role GREENPEACE plays in campaigning for its protection followed by a short discussion .With parents waiting they eagerly took "SAVETHEARCTIC" stickers and received  a gardening book from The Bristol GREENPEACE Group .One pupil is now researching GREENPEACE for a project presentation.

Thanks to Julie for the invitation .[ENDS]
