Our fundraising efforts over the Spring and significantly the month of May has been recognised by Canonbury Villas with a 'certificate' as seen above.  Through a variety of events (some more successful than others) and public donations, a fantastic £1,000 was raised.  This money goes towards the construction of the new Rainbow Warrior III which has been built in Bremen, Germany and is undergoing final fittings.  The ship was floated in early July and will have an official launch later this year in Hamburg before undergoing sea trials. For an update click here for Rainbow Warrior III Afloat and here for Raising the Masts.  The official Rainbow Warrior III can be located here where you can read personal stories, see 360 degree computerised images and even buy a piece of equipment of the new ship!

Find below 'Thank You' video uploaded in May.  And a well deserved 'well done' to all those who took part in fundraising for the new Rainbow Warrior.  Your contribution, whether it be time or money, now equips Greenpeace with a purpose built vessel to help patrol the oceans and prevent environmental crimes.
