Despite Great Western Rail letting us down we picked up HUGH's MARCH TO WESTMINSTER on Westminster Bridge and joined what must have at least 1,500 marchers.

Having assembled opposite Parliament and  after a short wait we were given a highly professional well organised presentation from Hugh who made the message clear 127 Uk Marine Conservation Zones areessential but the Government through DEFRA are only offering 31. Hence the 127 motif and the need for everyone to get on to DEFRA  with message.

Despite searching for GREENPEACE from the time we arrived it was only at the end that we found a GREENPEACE banner and ours wasn't used. A welcome from Kerry McCarthy MP for Bristol East and Alicia Craw who headed our successful GREENPEACE "Be a Fisherman's Friend" campaign was a nice finale.

So now it is essential to get the number of messages to DEFRA up to a record number- 30,000 target.[ENDS]
