Hi all,

Agenda for tonight's exciting meeting.....

Greenpeace Bromley Active Network

Meeting       Tuesday June 19th           Agenda

Present:

Apologies:

Agenda:

Change of Venue: Tuesday 19th June at 7.30pm at The Greyhound. 205 High Street. Bromley. Kent. BR1 1NY Map here: https://plus.google.com/109859217321446741625/about?gl=GB&hl=en-GB

Campaign updates:

Save the Arctic:      A long term campaign, we’re anticipating new materials and actions – information tonight….

Shell action: We have the materials, just need to source venue. Info tonight

Save the Arctic: Saturday 23rd June

I sent this as an email today, thank-you if you have replied.

We are organising a joint day of action with Croydon and Southwark, and have a great new third surge of the campaign to take to the streets.

Am actively sourcing a venue which could be the place the three groups meet for an action, one suggestion is the Thames along the Southbank near Jubilee gardens and the ‘statues’. Or we campaign together in a mutually convenient High street, with a good flow of people and then move on to meet together at a convenient pub, or we campaign in our own areas and then meet up for a de-brief in a mutually convenient place?

Please respond, as I need to know asap what people would like to do….

We will be taking action and joining up with other London groups on this Worldwide day of activity. Details to be finalised at our meeting tonight – email out Wednesday.

CF***P:       Still working on the Common Fisheries Policy....extra campaigning round the country at seaside venues, possibly a national campaign roll out.

Bromley and the SE Massif did visit Brighton a few years back to help in their fish campaign…does anyone want to go to the seaside to join in with another group for this? I can make enquiries and find ut who is doing where during the summer months….

Meeting Venue: We went to look at another Central Bromley public house (Greenpeace tradition from the very early days to meet in pubs) The Greyhound. 205 High Street. Bromley. Kent. BR1 1NY,  which also has a corner devoted to Darwin near the back entrance so that is where we hope to sit. Please ring me on my mobile if you get lost. Buses 227, 208
