Our Coal campaign is winding down, thanks to two partial successes - the Govt's agreement that all new Coal power stations should have (the mythical) Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) and a couple of power plant owners NOT putting in for planning permission, so thanks goes out to all who contributed.

On Airplot, we did not receive any answers from our local MP's to help plant our Cox's apple trees to twin with Airplot in Heathrow, but with two members stepping down, we will approach the new-proposed candidates to see if we can do more. We are also going to put a letter in the local paper to see if a local school would like our Cox's trees. This would be another step in the Airplot campaign, which is now reaching out to special interest groups - do you belong to a gardening, book, allotment, bird-watching or other club which might like to add their voice to restricting aviation growth? Let us know

Although Greenpeace does not run an anti-nuclear campaign directly, you can get full updates through an email service from no to nuclear power.org.uk - this technology is full of dangers, not least the radioactive waste, which can cause cancer for up to a million years - that doesn't sound carbon-friendly to me!

New campaigns are shaping like the exposure of damage to the environmnet because of exploitation of Oil from 'Tar Sands' ...more news later

A great thanks to all who have taken part, all who have signed, and all who want to get involved to make the world a better place
