Polar Bear in Petts Wood

Yes....there was a Polar Bear in Petts Wood on Saturday and a great thanks to the girls who took this photo of Paul the Polar bear with Ann Garrett.....Our Polar Bear was animated by Patrick - who stayed in there for an hour and a half!!!

The Polar Bear thanks all the people who signed up to SavetheArctic with Greenpeace and the nice folks who wanted to have a hug or a photo with our looking-for-a-new-home Bear....

A BIG thanks also to our colleague Richard Martin, who has helped volunteers on the ground in growing networks, from GPHQ Islington in keeping us inline and on our toes, and for all his input into our outreach media and online presence.....I'm sure, if the Polar Bears knew about Richard, they would like to thanks him too...I do.

PS Richard supports the Walrus, also endangered if the Arctic Ice Cap melts away so I think they would like to thank RIchard too..

Such a pity there were only three of us who could be in Petts Wood on Saturday, I'm sure many more would come except for family responsbilities....hope to see you all at the Saturday 15th December event too.....look our for our new updated bulletin coming soon.
