Seasons Greetings

Hi all, I have posted this from Greenpeace International for a fun time during this happy time of the year. I do hope to see you all at our meeting on January 18th, or failing that, at our High Street Stall in Penge on Saturday January 22nd. Thank you for being a part of the Greenpeace family, helping to stabilise the Climate, protect forests and fields, and help preserve our beautiful Planet Earth for future generations.

This holiday season, as you gather with family and friends, you can take a break from more traditional games and play Deepsea Desperation - the new print & play boardgame that pits Greenpeace against Big Oil in the struggle over deepsea oil drilling!

Play as Greenpeace and you are racing to create marine reserves that will close waters to drilling and protect endangered species. Play as Big Oil and you are racing to chase profits and exploit the very last dregs of deepsea oil despite the costs.

Of course this isn't just a game. The world's oil companies really are trying to drill in some of the riskiest and most environmentally sensitive areas in the world. Marine Reserves really are the answer - think of them like national parks or nature reserves at sea.

Get the game:
1) Download Deepsea Desperation http://www.greenpeace.org/international/PageFiles/222715/DeepSeaDesperation.pdf?utm_source=SilverpopMailing&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=GPI%20Newsletter%20-%20December%202010%20(2)&utm_content=

Print it out on non-chlorine bleached, 100% recycled paper
3) Join us in calling for Marine Reserves now!
