Greenpeace at the UCL Eco Fashion Show

Posted by Jenna Lane - 11 April 2010 at 9:23pm - Comments

How often do you get to team environmental actions/campaigning with glamour?! Well, in February Greenpeace was kindly invited as a co-partner to UCL's fabulous fashion show with a Green theme.

It was held at the splendid Hotel Russell which was a suitably magnificent venue, not a bad place to spend a Sunday evening. The fashion show was very impressive. The designers were bursting with talent - it was a visual delight that stretched one's normal perception of Eco.

I spoke with a number of the audience and designers, getting them to sign up to airplot which they thought was cool and gave them information about Greenpeace's activities.

Sally, the organiser was lovely and I'd like to thank her for the invitation and brand awareness she gave - Greenpeace was emblazoned on the back drop of the catwalk and on the event info.

I invited a number of people to campaign with us. Their fashion would definitely turn heads!
