"Are you going to shut us down?" - one of the Shell employees at the local garage in Upper Street was a bit worried when we turned up this evening. Maybe he'd seen the action that Greenpeace took against BP in 2010. But I assured him that, this evening at least, we were there to let their customers know about Shell's intentions to drill for oil in the Arctic - one of the world's most fragile and sensitive ecosystems. We left a letter for the manager, and spent the next few hours speaking to their customers outside, giving them information on the danger that Shell poses to the Arctic.
