Big IF Campaigning at Camden Lock

Posted by Neil Jones - 4 October 2009 at 12:27pm - Comments

Yesterday, we started the new phase of the Big IF campaign with a stall at Camden Lock.  We asked people to use lumps of coal to write or draw messages to Ed Miliband, the Energy & Climate Change Secretary. The messages tell him what a bad idea it is to build new coal power stations, and remind him that there are much better alternatives.

We had nice chats with lots of passers-by, and have loads of Big IF pledges and coal-drawn messages that will be landing on Ed's doorstep in the next few days.

You can see more photos from the day and examples of some of the messages here:

Thanks to everyone involved, and look out for more campaigning dates in the next few weeks.
