Last Sunday the we went along to the Transition Belsize Green Fair in Belsize Park to campaign on the Common Fisheries Policy. We had a whale of a time and even ran out of letters for people to send to David Cameron persuading him to support protecting Europe's oceans. We got over 130 letters signed, written and drawn! Antonio, one of the Camden activists, made a brilliant video of the day too.
The fair was a great success and all sorts of people from the local community who were just doing their normal sunday chores got involved. At one point we had a group of children gathered around our stall drawing pictures to send to David Cameron. There were jam making courses, a clay fire pizza oven, a cider press and more.
You can get involved by signing the online petition and by coming to visit us at the Bloomsbury Festival on Sunday 23rd October.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
