Hello to all of you, my name is Melanie, I come from Austria and at the moment I live as an AuPair in London. Being always very curious concerning what is going on around me, I was looking for a place to meet other people who also think like I do. So I was very pleased to get in touch with some people from Greenpeace because it is exactly what they are doing. They see things that aren´t seen by most people, they talk about things that only a few would talk about and, the most important thing, they really ACT if it´s necessary..!!!! That´s exactly what attracted me the most about the Wave!!. Seeing all these people on this march, to actually make an impact. I liked the experience of coming together and trying to change the way policy is dealing with the climate. Furthermore I haven´t had any problems with the language (although my English isn´t very good^^) just because we all spoke “same kind language”, we wanted a rethinking..no matter if in German or in English!! It was just a feeling of being part of changing the way our politicians act in this case. During the march I really felt that all the people in Copenhagen have to hear us, they HAVE to see what it´s about …that there are a lot of people out there who want climate justice ...and they want it NOW!!!! I just enjoyed being part of it & it really was a great day for me!!
