Volkswagen 'Subvertising' Film Exhibition - Launch Party - Friday 6th April, 9pm-1am

You are invited to attend the launch party of Greenpeace's new short film exhibition at the Forge in Camden.
Greenpeace ran a competition for film makers to create a 'subvertisement' (spoof advert) for Volkswagen - showing the dark side of the company - lobbying against EU climate laws - in contrast with their usual greenwashing commercials. Submissions came from top advertising companies, but the winning subvert was by 2 teenage students from Germany. We will be showcasing the top 12 shortlisted films over the weekend of 6th-8th April at the Forge, where you can find out more about Greenpeace's multimedia campaigning techniques.

At the launch party on Friday 6th, there will be bands, DJs, and of course the screening of some of the films. If you can't make it on Friday, don't panic - the films will also be shown on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th April, 12pm to 6pm.

The Forge is an eco-designed venue and restaurant on Delancey Street (just off Camden High Street), NW1 7NL. Click here for a map: http://www.greenpeace.org.uk/groups/camden/event/volkswagen-subvertising-film-exhibition
