Fracking around

Posted by paulafarrell - 26 August 2013 at 3:05pm - Comments

So off some of us went to Balcombe yesterday to see what was going on with the fracking and to lend a little bit of moral support. The fracktavists are still there in spite of what you may read in the papers. It's an issue close to home for us here, because permits for exploration have been issued in Sandwich, Shepherdswell, Guston and other locations in Southeast Kent. One thing thing that people kept saying to us stood out to me - "when you have your camp"....something to look forward to, I guess.

There's a good article in the Independent today about Balcombe, but be aware the trolls are out in force.
