Signs seen at a local Shell garage

It looks as though our message to Shell is beginning to hit home. In fact I was inspired to see today that some local people have taken the message to heart, so much in fact that they must have felt compelled to make their views known at a local Shell station. It seems that these people had put stickers on the pumps, 'out of order' cards on the pump handles and posters on the walls. Good for them!

I photographed as much as I could, although some of the stickers had obviously been removed by the time I got to the garage to buy my Sunday paper, and I have put some photos on flickr, here, http://www.flickr.com/photos/49213701@N07/sets/72157630158337828/ (or as below)

I agree with the sentiments expressed by these anonymous protesters - I wish I knew who they were. I would thank them for taking a stand and for trying to persuade Shell to abandon their plans for drilling in the Arctic.

If you've spotted anything unusual at your local Shell petrol station, then why not write a letter to the local paper?, or if you've got a window perhaps display a poster in it, or if you'd like to find out more about what's happening in you area, and / or you'd like to get more involved with Greenpeace please visit the Greenpeace Getactive webpage.
