Two letters appeared in The Western Mail this week decrying my support for Windfarms.
As ever they are imbued with the usual negative outlooks of 'we don't want it here' and 'I think we should do something climate change but this is the wrong way to do it'
Alas neither writer could tell us what they do would instead, presumably because this would mean backing an alternative energy system that might be unpopular.
We can have a reliable energy system based on renewables and energy efficiency and in the process create a green collar economy that will revitalise South Wales (see: http://www.greenpeace.org.uk/blog/climate/the-convenient-solution-20070718 for more details) or we can follow the Windy Nimby path of do nothing, cross our fingers and hope it all goes away.... Tick box a or b!
