The barmy division!

On Sunday 30th Oct 2011 a group of Greenpeace activists gathered at the base of Mt Snowdon for an Annual Greenpeace Hike. The group split into two with the sane and the barmy divisions...

The sane division going up the well worn Llanberis path...a really good idea as the weather was especially bad...almost guaranteed to make it back in one piece! Well...almost! We did have to quad bike one hapless victim of the mountainous terrain, back down from the Halfway house!

The barmy division with a death wish upon themselves... took on the mighty Crib Goch, a knife edge ridge on route...carrying a banner all the way to the summit! All I can say is...Well done!!

Next time we decide to walk in 65 mph winds, blanket mist and pouring rain...lets not! Maybe the pub would have been a better option...but then again...what is to deter a brave group of Greenpeace activists?

I am so happy to have met up with new and old friends for what was an amazing day! Thanks to everybody who made it!

Peace,
