Do you want to be part of the excitement around the Olympic and Paralympic Games?

Gold Challenge is the UK’s first Olympic and Paralympic sport based charity challenge and is part of the mass participation legacy programme for London 2012.

The 2012km Challenge is a great way for you to challenge yourself in a variety of sports and achieve something amazing for Greenpeace. It is simple to organise and manage and Gold Challenge does all the administration for you.

What is the 2012km Challenge?

Each team member (you can do this as an individual or as a team) covers an aggregate distance of 2012km* by one or more of the following sports:

Running – Swimming – Cycling – Walking – Rowing – Canoeing – Sailing – Windsurfing - Horse-riding

The challenge is fully inclusive with every team members’ efforts counting towards the total. It is open to everyone aged 5 upwards.

Gold Challenge will create a page for each team so that they can record their distance travelled on their Totalizer and see how far they have left to go to reach the 2012km target!

What now?

Signing up couldn't be easier - https://www.goldchallenge.org/gc/register.php this link takes you to their registration page and they will help you do the rest!

So if you didnt get any tickets for the Olympics why not create your own and raise money for Greenpeace at the same time!

If this sounds like it could be right up your street (or indeed canoe!) then why not register now, to find out more have a look at their website or email Issy Griffin on fundraising.uk@greenpeace.org or call on 020 7865 8236 for a chat
