Dorchester Greenpeace at Kingsnorth

Our first trip as a group.

The Mili-band
The Mili-band

After a slow start getting a nameless person out of bed we reached Rochester for the shuttle bus with time to spare.

At the assembly field it was just great to see that there were going to be enough people to complete the Mili-band. We were in group 7 which seemed to involve dancing!

It was great to see a WI banner next to the Greenpeace banner.

Burly but chirpy and helpful security guards was a really pleasant change from policing at Kingsnorth climate camp last year.

Shame that we got back to find a peaceful demonstration did not get reported but the day helped us get together as a group.
