Stirling Skillshare

Posted by Judith Bell - 30 October 2012 at 6:09pm - Comments

Two of us from the Dundee group went down to the tropical paradise that is Stirling to meet up with members from the St Andrews, Edinburgh and Glasgow groups for the annual Greenpeace skillshare. This is a curry and a quiz! Oh yes, and workshops and things. I stayed on for the demonstration at a Shell petrol station the next day. This involved bringing attention to the issue of the Artic with the aid of a polar bear. Two polar bears, in fact, one cute and one demonic. The demo seemed to go down a treat with drivers, with most of them waving happily at one polar bear and in stunned terror at the other.  Here are the photographs. Took a while to get them back from the developers - that’s why this post is a little late.

The photographs were meant to be in the post but kept running into more technical problems. They are in the group though - have a look.
