On the 25th August 2012, between noon and 2 pm, a group of Greenpeace activists, once again, showed Shell and people passing by that the company’s plan to drill the pristine Arctic Ocean is very dangerous and should not be permitted. This time the peaceful protest took place in Braidburn Shell garage. Throughout the event, posters, leaflets and a banner exhibited some of the key messages about the negative impact of Arctic drilling, which mostly were welcomed by smiles and approval gestures. We are now getting ready to the next action.

Vince shuts down Shell Braidburn all by himself! (Well, with a bit of help from the petrol station manager ...)
