Shell Forecourt Protest - 18/09 Dalry Road

We were out again yesterday, infront of Dalry Shell garage, telling people what Shell have been up to this summer in the Arctic.

People seem to be increasingly aware of the threat that the Arctic is facing, with recent news coverage on the melting ice aswell as Greenpeace activies locally and worldwide.  Asking passers by to sign the Arctic scroll and to make it into a Global Sanctuary seems to be getting easier, many already knew about the campaign!

Shell have ceased drilling this year, their first attempt to exploit this area being a total waste of money (hurrah!).  However, they plan to be back and are awaiting a full drilling permit,  we can't take the pressure off yet!  http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2012/sep/17/shell-postpones-arctic-dr...

Have you signed the Arctic scroll?  www.savethearctic.org
