On Saturday 19 March a small group of volunteers from the Edinburgh Greenpeace group visited the "Grassroots Climate Exchange" held by Transition Edinburgh University at Paterson's Land near Holyrood. This event brought together many different groups to share knowledge about moving to a sustainable low-carbon lifestyle.
We took our "Go Beyond Oil" campaign to this exchange where we made a few friends, and found lots of lovely people who were happy to support us by signing and decorating more of our Energy Bill postcards for us to pass on to their MPs.
The event itself was full of interesting discussions and a couple of us decided to join in the afternoon workshops after packing up our stall. Overall, a most interesting and enjoyable afternoon!
