On Saturday 19 May a few of us from the Edinburgh Greenpeace group manned an information stall at the Edinburgh Farmers' Market on Castle Terrace.
Although we didn't speak to as many people as we normally would due to the fact that we currently don't have any petitions or campaigns to sign people up to, we nonetheless managed to talk to a few people about Greenpeace's recent activities and what we get up to in the area as local volunteers.
We also managed to raise some money from doing face painting on kids and local teenagers passing through the market, and as the weather kept mostly dry and warm throughout the day it was a pleasureable day out. The half-price organic and homemade hot chocolate from the Chocolate Tree also made my day complete!
Well be going back to the Farmers' Market again later in the year, so watch this space!
