Go Beyond Oil - Campaigning in Castle Park

We spent a sunny Wednesday lunchtime grabbing the office workers as they strolled across Castle Park to fetch their sarnies.

Many were interested in our "Go Beyond Oil" campaign and filled in a postcard to their MP. Not so many of them had the time or inclination to complete the rainbow logos but some stray half-term children helped with the colouring in.

The postcards ask MPs the following:

"Please let me know what you will do to transform the upcoming dirty energy Bill into one that moves the UK economy beyond oil, limits emissions and kick starts a vibrant and prosperous low carbon economy for the UK."

After this successful expedition we are going to run another stall on The Prom on Gloucester Road (BS7 8AL) this Saturday 30th October between 11am and 1pm.
