Go Beyond Oil - Campaigning on College Green

We spent some time today in front of the Council House getting the public to write to their MPs about the upcoming energy bill. 

Greenpeace BristolEast - Carol - GoBeyondOil - CollegeGreen4 Laurence and Richard in front of the Council HouseLaurence and Richard in front of the Council HouseCollege Green was teeming with UWE students attending their graduation ceremonies in the cathedral with adoring families in tow.There were TV, radio and press reporters about but sadly NOT to cover our campaign!   They had a more important target as there was a large demo about Bristol City Council’s proposed sell-off of local Green Spaces.

Meanwhile, we accumulated 80 postcards to send off, but not many people today were in the mood to paint our “Go Beyond Oil” rainbow logos.
