Greenpeace was founded by passionate people, who believed in the vision of a green and peaceful world. For over 40 years we have relied on the time, skills and energy of volunteers, activists, interns, active supporters and people like you to win campaigns, online and offline.
In the UK, Greenpeace’s active supporters organise themselves into local groups / networks, that generally meet monthly, organise an event monthly and coordinate their activities via an online webgroup on the Greenpeace/active website. Please find your local network and get involved.
Each year we invite Greenpeace’s active supporters to celebrate their achievements, and to write a blog review of their highlights. So if you’ve ever been interested in what’s happening locally, or what volunteers with Greenpeace is really like, then here are some of those highlights.
